Mr. Douglas Flanders, Sam Dan Chief Instructor
Douglas began his training in 2016 in the WTSDA at Rock Solid Karate where he rose to the rank of Sam Dan (3rd Degree Black Belt). He won multiple medals in open hand forms, weapons forms, and sparring, as well as placing in weapons forms in the 2018 and sparring in the 2022 World Championships. After obtaining his instructors certification he opened Lanier Martial Arts Academy to share the lessons he learned with the next generation of Martial Artists.
Ms. Haiden Flanders, Cho Dan Instructor Trainee
Haiden began training in 2013 at 10 years old and received her Cho Dan (1st Degree Black Belt) from Rock Solid Karate. She went on to win medals in open hand forms, weapons forms, and sparring including 1st place 5 straight years in her regional division. She also won 3rd in sparring in the 2016 and 2 in sparring in the 2018 World Championships. She took a break to attend school, but she is back training and teaching future Black Belts.
